Why this blog exists
I wanted one place where people could share experiences and compare notes regarding this work.
I am not an athlete or a clinician. I worked out this method on my own body over a couple of years by paying attention to how I felt. But this is one person’s account. While we are all different, in some respects, we’re all the same.
I start this blog with one person's account, mine. I can’t tell you what the work will feel like for you. Only you can.
Here’s what I found to be true. The body responds reliably when you consistently give it the right signal about where it needs it. That part is consistent. What’s different is the unique histories we have stored in our bodies. The sensation you feel is information, but it’s yours and yours alone.
So here is the plan for this space:
I will share what I am working on and what I am noticing.
You share your experience. What you tried, what changed, what did not, where you are stuck.
We compare. Patterns show up when enough people describe the same thing in their own words.
A few ground rules. We trade observations, not proof. If something worked for you, please say so and how. If something didn’t work, that’s also useful. Patience is a big part of the method and of the conversation, too.
You do not need to be fit to do this work. If daily life feels heavier than it should and you’re wondering whether its really just age or your DNA, you’re in the right place. Often it’s not age. It’s your body’s compensation.
Please let me know if you are interested in the work and leave me a question or comment.
Thank you
Steve
